Terms of Service
Last updated: 29 September 2026
1. Who we are
Swadishta is operated by Swadishta, based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. You can reach us at support@swadishta.app. These Terms are an agreement between us and any restaurant, hotel or tiffin centre that registers for the service ("you," "the restaurant").
2. What Swadishta is
Swadishta is a subscription service that lets a restaurant set up QR-code table ordering for its own guests. Guests scan a code, browse your menu and place orders on their own phone; you manage the menu, staff access, tables and order history from an admin dashboard.
3. Who can register
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract, and you must be registering on behalf of a real, operating food business that you own or are authorised to represent. You're responsible for the accuracy of the menu, prices, UPI ID and restaurant details you add.
4. Your account
You're responsible for keeping the staff emails on your account limited to people you actually trust to see and manage incoming orders, and for anything that happens under your account's admin access. If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, tell us as soon as possible at the contact details above.
5. Subscription & billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance, in Indian Rupees, through our payment partner Razorpay via UPI AutoPay or card. Prices for each plan are shown on our pricing page at the time you subscribe. We may change plan pricing going forward, but changes won't apply retroactively to a period you've already paid for. Upgrading to a higher plan starts a new subscription billed in full immediately; your previous plan is cancelled once the new one is confirmed, with no credit for the unused portion of the old billing period.
6. Payments to your restaurant
We are not a payment aggregator or processor for your food sales. When a guest finishes their order, they pay directly to your own UPI ID via a QR code we generate from it — the money goes straight to your bank account. We never hold, route or take a cut of guest payments; the only charge you see from us is your subscription fee, collected through Razorpay.
7. Cancellation & suspension
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account. Cancelling stops future billing; your access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for, and it doesn't refund that period (see our Refund Policy for exceptions). We may suspend or terminate your account if you don't pay a due subscription fee, breach these Terms, or use the platform in a way that risks other restaurants, guests, or the service itself. Where practical, we'll tell you why before or when we do this.
8. Acceptable use
- Don't use the platform to collect orders for a business you don't own or operate.
- Don't attempt to interfere with other restaurants' menus, orders, accounts, or the service's infrastructure.
- Don't use the customer-facing ordering pages for anything other than genuine food orders.
- Don't list items whose sale is illegal in your state (e.g. without a required licence).
9. Your content
You keep ownership of your menu text, photos, restaurant name and any other content you upload. By adding it, you give us permission to display and store it as part of running the service for you. You confirm you have the right to use any photos or content you upload. Everything else about the Swadishta platform — its design, code and branding — belongs to us.
10. Service availability & liability
We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent allowed by Indian law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we're not liable for indirect losses such as lost sales, lost profits, or loss of goodwill arising from downtime or a fault in the service.
11. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute comes up, we'll first try to resolve it informally — contact us at the details above. If that doesn't work, the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana will have exclusive jurisdiction.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the new version here with an updated date; continued use of the service after a change means you accept the update. For a change that materially reduces your rights, we'll try to also notify registered admins by email.
